Emily supports the mission of Rare’s Center for Behavior & the Environment through individual and institutional partnership development, relationship-building, and strategic writing. Emily holds an MS in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy & Practice and a BA in Political Science and German Studies from Vassar College. Prior to joining Rare, Emily led stewardship and scholarship funding efforts for the Aspen Institute, a nonpartisan policy organization in Washington D.C.
Emily has missed her metro stop more than once listening to behavioral science podcasts like Hidden Brain, Freakonomics, or Action Design Radio, but this is yet to undermine her commitment to public transit!
