Kate Mannle

Rare, Global Solutions (formerly BE.Center)
Director of Training Programs
Seattle, WA

Kate oversees training programs for the Global Solutions team. During her time at Rare she has facilitated cross-functional teams that developed trainings resulting in over 180 behavior change campaigns in 26 countries. She also enjoys working with partners to evaluate whether a behavior change approach is the right fit for their conservation strategies and designing events that encourage sharing of bright spots within the conservation community.

Kate holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Bates College and a MSc. in Biodiversity, Conservation and Management from the University of Oxford.

You might find Kate at a trailhead in the Cascades doing avalanche outreach for backcountry skiers or setting out on a long-distance backpacking trip. The one behavior she’d like to change would be having three more behavior changes (improving voter turn-out, paying teachers the salaries of tech workers, and replacing screen time with green time outside).
